RanaBot is Rana’s chatbot for assisting with every feature of RanaEngine and the rest of the Rana ecosystem.
Ask RanaBot anything about information in your Knowledge Base and it will do its best to find the relevant answers for you from the carefully curated information that is most important to you.
Summarize, translate, and “talk to” articles and documents in order to better understand and comprehend the information within. Create essays and articles on topics of interest, get writing assistance and proofreading help, even for large documents, and extract keywords, tags, and themes automatically.

Everything that is generated or imported into RanaEngine is stored in your Collections. Many different kinds of content are supported, such as text, images, audio, video, and others, and may be used to analyze, organize, or inspire new creative works.
While all Collections items are private by default, any item may be shared with either specific users or the general public by creating special URLs.
Every item that is generated or imported into RanaEngine will be automatically tagged and categorized, privately and locally, to make searching and filtering easy for both users and AI helper agents controlled by end-users.
Even large amounts of content will synchronize and transfer quickly across your Rana cluster, by leveraging P2P technologies between your nodes.
Create specialized lists of content, whether photo albums, music playlists, topic discussions, or anything else from your Collections for sharing.
Delve Into the Knowledge Base
The Knowledge Base acts as a personal encyclopedia of information on topics relevant to your own interests, expanding over time as your research evolves.
Knowledge Cards can be created that are inspired by publicly available wiki information, and can be augmented later with additional research, information, and commentary from other friends on Rana.
The Knowledge Base acts as a quick, summarized source of intelligence for exploring the connections among related content, and also acts as a reference for AI agents interacting with other users, documents, the web, and information spaces overall on behalf of end-users.
Connect with Your Friends
While RanaEngine works well for personal use, even more possibilities are unlocked when connecting with others. Users may create and join groups, chat with friends, share creations, explore curated lists, comment on each other’s articles, and work together to share knowledge and computing resources to create new works never before possible.
Only the information you choose to share will be available to others, all content is private by default. All items in the Collections can be toggled to be shared either with specific individuals, a group, or be made public, individually controlled by end-users.
